An Intimate Evening with Ian Thomas Fumbling With Inspiration. A Benefit Concert in celebration of the Carnegie Gallery’s 45th birthday. Many of you will be familiar with our home town ‘Renaissance Man’ as a world renowned singer-songwriter, film composer, author and actor but in this intimate evening, Ian will take you on a journey … a path of love over a lifetime.
Two sopranos, with different musical vocabularies, are featured in composer Reena Esmail's glorious composition about sisterhood across cultures. Dvorak's cheerful 8th symphony and the sinuous melodies of Sibelius' Belshazzar's Feast add zesty elements to this evening’s musical mix.
A Valentine's Day special. Experience a romantic Valentine's Day concert with timeless love songs by Gershwin and more, featuring celebrated baritone John Fanning, enchanting mezzo-soprano Ariana Chris and renowned pianist Ken Gee.
